Picked up this camera today. Haven't had a chance to test all the features. But I'm really happy with it. With the new update you can use it as a Webcam over USB! The 2 things I don't like are the touch screen. You can't use it for the menus! And the position of the battery/SD door. You can't open it while on a tripod!

The stabilization is good enough but not great - compared to a gimbal camera like the DJI Osmo Pocket it's not even close.

this looks amazing when travel is open again i want something like this to vlog especially when i go back to japan. vlogging from an iphone doesnt do as much justice as this

I've recently purchased this and after 30mins recording in 4k.. the camera shuts down due to internal overheating!! Anyone know how to combat this??? . Im really disappointed, I had high hopes 😔 😞

the WORST thing about this camera, that other reviewers caught was the AWFUL placement of the battery lid, which is at the BOTTOM. If this is mounted on ANY tripod, you have to unscrew EVERYTIME you change the battery...and it's going to be FREQUENT given how tiny this battery is.. Other cameras have them on the side, which is much better placement..

you didn't mention the mediocre to awful battery life (expected in such a small battery) that all the other bloggers noticed. Vloggers MUST carry an extra battery. Also, Sony doesn't even include a battery charger (Canon always does) so factor that into your purchase.

Good camera but can't stand how Sony doesn't include a battery charger. Of course Canon does. Not cool Sony...not cool

What would be the benefit of this over say my Samsung galaxy s20 with a gimbal? Is this Sony waterproof or use in the rain? And is it better in lowlight as that's when I notice the biggest shortfall in my Samsung galaxy s20 video footage.
