Remember, from when we had an “LTE Capable” iPhone 5, we are still 2 years early from robust 5G networks, if the 10 year timeline is to be followed.

PAID PROMOTION : T-Mobile paid for this roadtrip from a specific city to a specific city with HUNDREDS of miles of desert in between where capacity is high. Because 5G is terrible in reality, the speeds suck. 5G always shows but if you open settings in phone you can see that its actually LTE its connected to, not even NR. So the 5G icon is similar to how AT&T and Apple turned the H indicator to 4G when it really isnt 4G. Same thing here. T-Mobile 5G is WORSE than EDGE.

Well that's crazy my samsung note 20ultra on tmobile 5g I got 5.83 download and .27 upload while my verizon 12 pro max on 4glte I got 22.3 download and 5.64 upload

It is so weird, in the USA 5G is slower than 4G in Honduras, with the phone I currently have is a Xiaomi Mi A3 and I download at 80Mbps download and 40Mb upload.

T-mobile has always done good in cities. T-mobile can’t handle "REAL" rural areas like Verizon can.

Los Angeles? Who says that? It's L.A. I was a truck driver and I had some dead spots while traveling. It was bad til the point that I wanted to cancel T-Mobile.

In my opinion, I have switched to 3 different phone carriers, and in the last past 6 or 8 years, all their commercials are “we have the largest coverage on the country” every single one with the same ad and showing that map of covering the whole country with the signal. The reality is that you go just a little bit of the city and you are done. So I am more than ready when StarLink company comes with the phone signal after the insane thing that they are doing with Wifi now.
